We were incredibly privileged to speak to Jeri Ryan at The Greatest Show In the Galaxy. Even though she was very jet lagged, she remained as beautiful and witty as ever.As this was Jeri's first visit to the UK, she was in high demand - plus she is official nerd bait!

(Spot the Jem'Hadar in the background)
On both the Saturday and Sunday she had her own question and answer session that was packed out on both occasions. As we have mentioned before a lot questions were about her costume, her boobs and how her bathroom breaks resulted in a 20 minute production break. She did … Continue Reading ››
We wanted to bring you a post ahead of tomorrows Destination Star Trek London's guest announcements. (very excited about the competitions and announcements!) The cast, the actors who play the characters are the focal point at conventions. The most memorable events we have been to, were organised with as much exposure to the stars as possible. On a Starship, the bridge crew wouldn't get anything done if it weren't for the redshirts, the dilithium miners and ships counsellor. That example doesn't quite parallel Star Trek in terms of Actors v Production crew as we wouldn't want to devalue their role. Lets say that the production crew are like the Admirals and Academy teachers. They set the mission and often get accused of being baddies! The writers, producers and know-it-alls are often bypassed at conventions yet they can bring so much. Fans want to see the … Continue Reading ››
As we mentioned in our previous reports and vBlogs, we had the honour and privilege of talking to some of the woman of Star Trek at last weekends The Longest Named Greatest Show In The Galaxy.
However we must confess to having a soft spot for Chase Masterson. We keep saying she was a complete sweetheart (because it's true) and she is the ultimate Trekkie Girl.
We wanted to dedicate an entire post to Chase, not just because she took the time to talk to us but because she always take time to spend with all the fans. That sort of contact really makes fans feel valued. Plus she thought we were teenagers! (Our holiday to Ba'ku must have done us good!)We should say that it was our first time interviewing a Star Trek … Continue Reading ››
A little break from our reporting on TGSITG. Our Interviews are coming together nicely. Just working out the best way to share them on Blogger. Meanwhile you can check out some additional pictures on our Facebook page.
We wanted to share some news about Destination Star Trek London.
Colin from Trek News and Views was able to secure an interview Jill Ubdegrove from Media 10, the events company that is organising DSTL. We were unable to make the call as we were reporting from Peterborough but we sent Colin a list of questions in advanced and along with and Wayne from the TrekMate Podcast, they grilled Jill for information.
The interview can be found via Trek.FM or iTunes but it comes with a health warning. You will get VERY excited!!! Don’t drink too many liquids whilst listening.

Day one of The Greatest Show In the Galaxy had been so incredible for us we thought Sunday would be a quieter day. We were in for a pleasant surprise.
We had overslept so we rushed straight to the arena where we once again bumped into the staff member who had helped us get an interview with Chase on Saturday and the next thing we knew, we were interviewing Jeri Ryan! We felt like we had been stunned on a medium setting!
Jeri was an absolute delight and if we thought we were tired, she was very jetlagged but still maintained perfection.
Jeri is always surrounded by security, a sad necessity due to problems with stalkers. They were rather nice to look at all weekend though but maybe … Continue Reading ››

We have commented on how we feel about leaked photos and rumours from the set in a previous post Coolant Leak, I mean Photo Leak! But in the last week the internet was been rife with spoilers and rumours. The good news is any number of fan sites that are speculating, could be right. But they don't know what we know.....The USS Enterprise stumbles upon The USS Botany Bay. The crew are perplexed by the occupants claim that they are relics from a Eugenics War as no one in the 23rd Century had heard of it. Records indicate that the Botany Bay's temporal signature is the same as Spock Primes' so they must have crossed over at some point. In this timeline there was no war in the 1990's just plenty of purchasing on … Continue Reading ››
