Happy New Year 2014
The holodeck doors open and the Trekkie Girls get kicked out, back to reality.
As part of our takeover of Destination Star Trek Germany each wednesday, we have "obtained" two tickets to the Saturday night party. As they say on Risa, "What's ours, is yours" which is why we are giving them away like a psychologically unbalanced Ferengi to one lucky DSTG guest.
Happy New Year to all our followers. We have had a busy few weeks so wanted to give you a little update on our goings on.
We have resumed our weekly takeovers of the Destination Star Trek Germany Twitter and Facebook accounts every Wednesday at 8pm GMT / 9pm CET. On last nights takeover we were able to reveal the poll results for the Saturday night party theme for DSTG. Ladies of Star Trek won the fan vote and we had a great evening talking about some of Star Trek's leading ladies. Top Trekkie Xmas Presents
What do you buy the Trekkie who has everything? We assume that most fans have the basics, the DVDs (in various formats and editions), the books, the T-Shirts - even the rubbish ones but its sacrilege to throw away anything that bears the word Star and Trek.
So we look to the great material continuum to provide. Here is what we have found:
Forget Diamonds, A VISOR is a girls best friend! Not sure whether the creator went out to design a ring that looked like Geordi's eye wear or if it was a happy accident but it is certainly unique!
We love this item but only buy this for your most dedicated Trekkie Girl or your love life might start to resemble Geordi's too.

Caption Contest Winner
We had a blast yesterday during our Destination Star Trek takeover. The theme was Data's Day and we learnt a lot from chatting to you. 
We heard lots of great stories about meeting Brent Spiner including Becca and Kay from Twitter who travelled all the way to Los Angeles from England to watch him perform live in a play.
Tonight we are firing up the MIDAS array and preparing to take over the Destination Star Trek Germany Twitter and Facebook accounts again. Join us each Weds at 8pm GMT.
We heard lots of great stories about meeting Brent Spiner including Becca and Kay from Twitter who travelled all the way to Los Angeles from England to watch him perform live in a play.Espa100 told us a funny story about how they couldn't understand each other because his English wasn't very good at the time so they communicated with hands and feet! (images of Data dancing with Dr Crusher come to mind!)
We also learned that most of you think Data swearing in Generations is more humorous than when Q gave Data the gift of laughter!
