Next weekend ( 26th - 27th September) we will be attending the Science Fiction and Fantasy Weekend at Action Stations, Portsmouth Historic Dockyard.
There will be displays, vendor stalls, games to play from across the Sci-Fi and Fantasy genre plus you are in the incredible Action Stations in the Historic Dockyards. There is laser quest, rock climbing or visit ships like the HMS Victory, Mary Rose or HMS Warrior.
At 1pm Saturday 26th, The Trekkie Girls will be hosting the costume contest! Open to all ages and ability, we can't wait to see everyone dressed up.
We're super excited about this event (aren't we always!) because it's being held in our home town. Let us know if you're coming!

Another Season down and I still haven’t learned my lesson! Instead of mentally trying to build a Season review in my head as I watch, and maybe even sensibly jotting a couple of notes down along the way, I still find myself having done neither of these things, and once again face the challenge of trying to remember what’s happened throughout the whole of Season 3! #badTiT

This year the Royal Albert Hall are hosting the World Premiere of Star Trek: The Ultimate Voyage that will feature the most iconic footage and sounds from all the films and movies!
We can't emphasize enough what an incredible experience watching STID on a massive screen with a live orchestra playing right in front of you. It's goose bump inducing.

Having stumbled across this snippet on Treknews of an interview with Simon Pegg with the New York Daily News, we are pleased to learn that Simon Pegg has been referring to Memory Alpha whilst writing for Star Trek: Beyond.
We're hoping this means lots of hidden Easter eggs, crossovers and blantent references in our belovered Star Trek universe.
We know that Pegg is a self confessed fan, so why do we love that he is browsing our favourite Trek site? For Borg level perfection, obviously! We like our references to be tidy and laser scalpel sharp.
It's also a good indication that he respects the franchise and us nit-picky fans, that he wants to deliver it well. Either that or he went to google a spelling (maybe Qo'noS!? - ouch!) and then got stuck in the most horrendous wiki-loop ever.
